Carrie Coltman
Leadership Challenge Certified Facilitator
Carrie has a deep and broad background in organization and leadership development, having worked as an internal and external consultant for world-class organizations for more than 20 years.
Following 14-plus years as an external consultant with Tom Peters Group/Learning Systems, Interaction Associates, and BlessingWhite, Carrie joined Adobe Systems where she started their first Organization Development function. She eventually headed up Executive Development, working with the top 1% of the company. In this role, she created a process to help integrate new executives into the Adobe culture.
Most recently Carrie was with Apple, Inc., where she worked as a Senior Organizational Development consultant, helping leaders and teams become more effective.
Carrie has a talent and passion for getting leadership teams on the same page. She is a seasoned facilitator focused on getting intact teams moving in a positive and productive direction as evidence by her work with a Applied Materials, Blackrock, The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching, The Grass Valley Group, and Intel.
Carrie wrote her masters thesis on coaching and is certified in several leadership development instruments including the Leadership Practices Inventory (LPI), the PDI Profilor, and the Lominger Voices 360 leadership assessment. She also co-authored a Coaching Behaviors assessment that was used in The Leader as Coach workshop. She is certified in the Myers Briggs Type Indicator, the Strengths Deployment Inventory, and Team Effectiveness Systems. Recently, she became a certified coach with New Ventures West.
Carrie lives Palo Alto with her husband and two young daughters.
