John has a diverse background, having worked in communications in organizations ranging from a Bay Area high tech company to a mid-sized credit union. As a leadership and team development consultant, he has worked with groups in large, established firms as well as with teams in start-ups, with seasoned executives as well as newly formed teams, and in multiple industries.
John embraces The Five Dysfunctions of a Team® model because it is simple, straightforward and easily grasped, and it is applicable to all kinds of teams. The model consistently helps teams improve the way they interact and perform.
John has a degree in Communications from UC Davis. He has been certified in transition management, conflict resolution, and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.
