This research led to identification of five practices of leaders who get extraordinary things done in organizations. The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership® can be learned and are the foundation of The Leadership Challenge®.
Sonoma Leadership Systems is the #1 provider of The Leadership Challenge® Workshop. Open Enrollment sessions are held 3 times a year in Sonoma, California, in the heart of beautiful "Wine Country." We offer on-site, customized training as well.
Prior to the workshop, participants complete The Leadership Practices Inventory® or LPI. This industry-leading, highly regarded and validated 360 degree assessment tool measures how often 30 leadership behaviors are practiced from one's own piont of view and as observed by as many as 10 colleagues. In class, participants get valuable feedback from the LPI, learn how to interpret it, and use it as a guide to increasing behaviors that will make them better leaders.
The Leadership Challenge Workshop® is facilitated by highly skilled trainers who bring the philosophy, principles, and lessons of Kouzes and Posner to life through content-rich lectures, interactive group discussions, workbook exercises, team problem-solving, storytelling, video case studies, and optional action learning.
