The Leadership Challenge® Workshop
Facilitator Certification

Individuals wishing to extend their knowledge
and make a longer term commitment to
The Leadership Challenge® program
may elect to become certified.

Sonoma Leadership Systems is dedicated to making The Leadership Challenge® Workshop training and materials widely available to the leadership development market. Therefore, in partnership with authors Jim Kouzes and Barry Posner and Pfeiffer (an Imprint of John Wiley & Sons), we offer The Leadership Challenge® Workshop Facilitator Certification. Together we have created a network of professionals willing to share ideas and best practices and work toward the overarching Leadership Challenge goal of making “leadership everyone’s business.”

Level I, the first step in the certification process, is completion of The Leadership Challenge® Workshop and Facilitator Training. See our schedule of training sessions on this page or go to upcoming events.

Next, a candidate completes the application Facilitator Trainingprocess and works with a Certified Master on Level II requirements. These include demonstrating a thorough understanding and integration of The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership® and competent delivery skills.

Level III is the highest level of expertise in application of The Leadership Challenge® model. Certified Master status is granted only to those who over time demonstrate a commitment to and deep mastery of The Five Practices and the LPI.

For a detailed look at the criteria for and process of becoming a Certified Facilitator, we invite you to download our booklet, "Facilitator Certification." If you have questions, please contact us by e-mail at ask@sonomaleadership.com or call 707-933-3882.
